This fine and imposing mirror is finely decorated with intricate Boulle marquetry inlay and Sevres style porcelain plaques. The mirror frame is of rectangular form crafted in ebonised wood. The frame features a curved, double arched top which meets at the centre to form a curved pediment, within which is set an oval Sevres style porcelain plaque of a female figure, bordered within a gilt bronze frame. The mirror features a further twelve porcelain plaques of flowers and putti. The sections in between each of the plaques are finely detailed with Boulle marquetry inlays of brass and tortoiseshell in a scrolling, arabesque pattern.
