The body of this Georgian bowl is plain and embellished with a simplified engraved coat of arms.
The upper rim of this impressive bowl is encompassed with an applied moulded border encircled with tooled decoration.
This antique bowl has a fine colour and patination*.
This impressive bowl is an exceptional example of its type; such large examples are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.
* Patination or Patina is a subtle colouration or tarnish which forms on the surface of some metals, produced by oxidation or other chemical processes. A good patina proffers an aesthetically pleasing look.
