The surface of this George II salver is ornamented with a fine and impressive contemporary bright cut engraved scrolling leaf bordered coat of arms.
The raised incurved shaped border is encompassed with a variation of exceptional applied floral sprays and scrolling leaf ornamentation to the rim.
This English silver salver is supported by four impressive scrolling hoof style feet accented with an undulating leaf decorated foot.
* The armourial bearings are those of the Boycott family, an ancient lineage in the County of Shropshire, England which stemmed from the Parish of Pentesbury during the reign of King Richard II.
