The surface of this silver salver is plain and embellished with a circular cartouche incorporating a scrolling leaf bordered contemporary bright cut engraved coat of arms depicting on chequy a bar engrailed with three lions rampant.
This impressive coat of arms is surmounted with a crest displaying a pelican in her piety, wings addorsed and elevated.
The raised rounded border of this antique salver is encompassed with plain applied moulded decoration to the shaped rim.
This antique salver is supported by four impressive hoof style feet.
This exceptional example of Georgian silverware was crafted by the renowned London silversmith Gabriel Sleath.
