Antique George III Newcastle Sterling Silver Sauceboat

The surface of the body is embellished with the contemporary engraved initials 'JW to IAM'.
The rim to the body and foot of this impressive sauceboat are encircled with a thread decorated borders.
The sauceboat is fitted with a thread decorated narrow loop handle.
This uncommon item is made by the rare and collectable Newcastle silversmith Robert Pinkney.

Length from back of handle to lip 19cm/7.5"
Length of foot 11cm/4.3"
