Look at what I found on the Online Galleries website!
The peppers are matching in height, form and piercing/engraving. It is likely that they started life together however there are minor differences:
1 One pepper is hallmarked in the centre underneath (1781), the other pepper is hallmarked on the centre edge underneath (1783).
2 One pepper top has a gadroon border, the other top is plain
3 One pepper has left facing gadroon borders, the other has right facing gadroon borders
There is a small solder repair on the foot of one of the peppers.
Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.
