Samuel Godbehere registered his first mark on his own and worked alone for only a very short time. He registered a mark in partnership with Edward Wigan on 13th September 1786. This partnership lasted for some fourteen years until they then included James Bult in the partnership in March 1800 and registered themselves as “S Godbehere & Co.”
