The surface of this large salver is embellished with a fine and impressive central oval bright cut engraved floral motif and leaf bordered vacant cartouche.
This raised border is encircled with an impressive band of bead decoration to the rim.
The salver is supported by four bracket style feet embellished with further bead ornamentation.
The underside of this impressive Georgian salver bears the silversmith’s centre punch mark in addition to the full hallmarks pertaining to the renowned female London silversmith Hester Bateman.
This large salver is displayed with a four piece tea and coffee service for illustrative purpose only - the service (W5561) may be purchased separately from the AC Silver inventory if so desired.
