The surface of the salver is embellished with a fine and impressive contemporary bright cut engraved coat of arms with impressive scrolling leaf mantling.
The coat of arms displays in the first half a bordure and saltire engrailed and within the second half, the first quarter a lion rampant, the second a hand holding a cross crosslet fitchy, the third a ship with crossed mass and the fourth quarter a fish.
The raised rounded border is encompassed with impressive applied gadroon decoration.
The salver is supported by four impressive bracket style feet ornamented with scrolling decoration to the lower portion in addition to a gadroon decorated border.
This sterling silver salver is an impressive example of its type and crafted in a highly desirable shape and style.
