This antique George IV sterling silver three piece tea service consists of a teapot, cream jug, and sugar bowl.

Each piece of this impressive set has a rectangular rounded form onto four Regency style feet.

The plain body of each piece is encircled with a band of embossed and chased decorated stylised floral motifs on a matte background.

The teapot is fitted with a flush hinged, domed hallmarked cover; the flush hinge indicates the fine quality of this service.

The cover retains the original sterling silver rounded rectangular finial embellished with chased stylised rose and leaf decoration, encompassed with a bud border.

The teapot, cream jug and sugar bowl are fitted with C scroll handles, ornamented with applied chased acanthus leaf decorated thumbpieces.

Each component of this service is supported by four Regency style bracket style feet ornamented with a shaped claw foot, accented with scrolling leaf decoration and stylised floral motifs.

The cream jug and sugar bowl retain the original gilded interiors.
