This impressive antique George IV sterling silver three piece tea service with matching teapot stand has a compressed circular melon shaped form.

The teapot, cream jug, sugar bowl and teapot stand are embellished with chased wild rose, flower and leaf decoration.

The decoration incorporates a vacant shaped scroll decorated cartouche to one side of each piece.

The teapot is fitted with the original hallmarked subtly domed cover.

The cover retains the original carved ivory and sterling silver bun shaped finial.

The teapot is fitted with the original carved ivory handle.

The cream jug and the sugar bowl retain the original gilded interior.

This fine tea service has the benefit of being accompanied by the original hallmarked teapot stand.

The stand is fitted with a wooden base and green baize to the underside.
