The pieces of this silver Art Deco tea set have a plain rectangular rounded form onto a collet style base.
The body of each piece is plain and embellished with an applied band of simplified gadroon decoration to the rim accented with a sunburst designs, all in the Art Deco style.
The teapot is fitted with a hallmarked flush hinged cover and retains the original carved painted wood and silver topped cushion style finial; the flush hinge indicates the fine quality of this service.
This antique teapot is fitted with the original carved painted wood angular handle with an elevated palmette style thumbpiece and plain sterling silver sockets.
The cream jug and sugar bowl are fitted with angular sterling silver handles, each accented with a stylised palmette decorated panel to the upper socket.
The teapot has an impressive plain swan necked spout.
