Antique George V Pair of Sterling Silver Preserve Pots
Offered by AC Silver
The sterling silver body of each preserve pot is embellished with vertical panels of pierced scrolling lobed style foliate decoration.
These fine preserve pots are fitted with hallmarked domed hinged covers surmounted with impressive volute scrolling finials.
Each preserve pot is fitted with a C scroll handle with a bifurcating lower terminal and ornamented with applied undulating decoration to the handpiece.
Both pieces are fitted with the original removable blue glass liners.
These antique mustard pots are supplied with associated fully hallmarked sterling silver Fiddle pattern mustard spoons.
The handle terminal of each spoon is embellished with the contemporary bright cut engraved initials 'AMC' and the bowl retains the original gilding.
