This Sheffield silver cutlery set consists of 113 pieces:
18 Table knives
18 Table forks
18 Table spoons
18 Dessert knives
18 Dessert forks
18 Dessert spoons
Pair of sauce ladles
Pair of serving spoons
The fundamental pieces of this straight service have been crafted by the Sheffield silversmith Fenton, Russell & Co Ltd in 1926, apart from the knives which are replacements**.
This impressive antique flatware service is supplied in felt cutlery rolls; which not only protect the items in storage but significantly reduce tarnishing.
* "Straight" means all the pieces are made by the same maker in the same year.
** Predominately all antique silver canteens have replacement knives as the originals have not stood the test of time.
