This exceptional antique silver desk standish, in sterling standard, has a rectangular form.

This George V inkstand is plain and embellished with an applied egg decorated border to the rim.

The surface of this exceptional example of antique silverware incorporates two elongated oval recesses, composing pen wells.

This antique hallmarked silver inkstand is supported by four impressive cast Regency style feet embellished with lobed petal/leaf decoration, in addition to tiered supports in junction with the body.

The stand incorporates two circular inkpots in addition to a central oval receptacle; each hallmarked component secures to the underside with a screw fitment.

Each vessel is plain and unembellished, with applied moulded borders to the upper and lower rims.

The inkpots and container are fitted with hallmarked hinged covers surmounted with impressive acorn style finials.

Each ink pot is fitted with a circular rounded gunmetal liner.

Each component has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.
