The surface of the body is plain and unembellished.
This jewellery box is fitted with a hallmarked hinged cover ornamented with fine and impressive engine turned decoration accented with horizontal bands of black and mint green enamel and incorporates a central vacant rectangular cartouche.
The rim of the cover is embellished with an engine turned decorated border.
The body is supported by plain Art Deco style bracket feet to each corner.
The interior displays a bespoke wood and navy blue velvet fitment which provides a central well bordered by integrated ring holders at either side.
This fine antique box has a weighted base and retains the original leatherette to the underside.
