The surface of this George VI salver is plain with six panels of incurved decoration to the rounded raised border, all in the Art Deco style.
The salver is supported by three fine and impressive, original carved ivory bun style feet.
The underside of the salver bears the retailer's mark 'John Bagshaw & Sons, Liverpool'
This impressive salver, crafted by the collectable and renowned London silversmiths Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd , is a highly desirable shape and style.
