Each piece of this impressive cutlery service has been crafted in the King’s pattern and features a diamond heel.
The anterior surface of each handle is embellished with a contemporary bright cut engraved crest depicting between two wings charged with five roundels, a demi-lion rampant.
The dessert knives have filled handles, as to be expected with this type of service.
The forks, spoons and knives retain the original gilding*.
This antique Indian silver cutlery is supplied in felt rolls; which not only protect the items in storage but significantly reduces tarnishing.
* The gilding may be professionally stripped on request if so desired.

The original gilding is predominately in excellent and impressive condition, showing minimal signs of wear to the waisted crest bearing portion of each handle, all in keeping with age.
The King’s pattern decoration is very sharp.
Full hallmarks struck to the underside of each fork and spoon handle show signs of wear, in keeping with age and due to their location.
The hallmarks to the surface of each knife blade are all very clear.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these pieces of antique silverware.
