A fine example of an 18thc Bronze Skillet used for "down hearth" cooking , this one has the founders name raised on the handle "Warner" in a boundary, which probably indicates that it is late 18thc and the founder Tomson Warner, whose foundry was in the parish of St.Giles, London. In addition to the name on the handle is also the capacity mark of 1P (1 Pint).

English. C1780-90.
