There is a minor ding to the handle by the engraved ‘M’ and some natural fire marks to the surface of the mug; these do not detract from the aesthetic appearance of this antique item.
Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the mug and marker’s mark to the handle are all very clear; the second portion of the hallmark to the handle is worn but remains legible.
Reflections in photography may detract from the true representation of this piece of Georgian silverware.
