Antique Pair of Composite Sterling Silver Tureens - Adams Style
1899 to 1904 Sheffield

The lower portion of the body to each antique tureen is embellished with fluted decoration accented with a matt texture to the terminal of each lobe.
The rim and foot of each tureen are ornamented with reed decorated borders.
These antique tureens retain the original hallmarked push fit domed covers, surmounted with sterling silver Adams style urn shaped finials.
The covers are further embellished with fluted decoration to the domed portion.
These antique tureens are fitted with loop handles ornamented with plain applied moulded decoration.
These impressive tureens were both crafted by the Sheffield silversmiths Martin Hall & Co, one was made in 1899 and the other in 1904.
The tureens are identical to either other, in both style and size.
