An interesting Prattware English pottery plaque with applied sprig decoration connected with rural sports but with the curious addition of figures of cherubs. The plaque has a beaded border with restrained application of the oxide colours associated with Prattware.
A very unusual and decorative whimsical piece from the English potters.
A similar plaque is illustrated in the John and Griselda Lewis book on Prattware.
