The upper portion of this impressive drinking vessel is encircled with a fine engraved simplified intertwined vine and leaf motif decorated border below two bands of tooled decoration.
The lower portion of the bowl is encircled with engraved fluted ornamentation, alternating with a matt texture.
The hallmarks to the underside of this antique beaker include:
Maker's Mark: ААК (Al'derman Alekseì Kosiùrev)
Assay mark: 1790 А.В (assayer untraced)
City Mark: St George slaying the dragon (Moscow, Russia)
