This exceptional antique Victorian goblet has a circular bell shaped form onto a waisted pedestal to a circular spreading foot.

The body of this sterling silver goblet is embellished with engine turned decoration, featuring an oval vacant cartouche to the anterior accented with four scrolling incurved motifs.

The upper portion of the goblet is encompassed with a band of interlacing strapwork style arabesque decoration incorporating panels of a trellis pattern.

The lower portion of this Victorian goblet is embellished with an exceptional interlacing strapwork style star design accented with leaf motifs to each sub-divided segment.

The plain waisted pedestal features a plain circular knop to the centre.

The circular spreading foot is ornamented with further engine turned and arabesque style decoration reflecting that of the upper portion of the goblet.

This exceptional sterling silver goblet retains the original gilded interior.

This exceptional Victorian goblet was crafted by the collectable and renowned London silversmiths John, Edward, Walter & John Barnard of Barnard & Sons Ltd.
