Look at what I found on the Online Galleries website!
The surface of each waiter is embellished with a fine and impressive contemporary bright cut engraved crest of a demi-savage adorned with four ostrich feathers; the crests have worn in keeping with age to an aesthetically pleasing naturally mellowed appearance.
The raised borders are ornamented with an applied moulded rim.
The waiters are each supported by four impressive hoof style feet.
Such fine pairs of antique sterling silver waiters are becoming increasingly scarce.
* The armourial bearings are those of the Warburton family, of Arley in the County of Cheshire.
