A rare Tabriz carpet in an enormous size. The design is a recreation of the famous Ardebil carpet, which is in the Victoria and Albert museum. This particular carpet used to reside in the Bank of England. Currently can be seen on our Stand A38 at the BADA Antiques Fair in Chelsea, London until Tuesday 25th March.

Rugs and carpets have been made in Tabriz for centuries, but it has only been a major producer since the mid 19th century. Tabriz is located in the north-west of Persia.
