Look at what I found on the Online Galleries website!
It dates from around 1860, the quality is fabulous and it is typical of the very best Victorian furniture that was produced at that time. This piece would be ideal for displaying your collectables because of the stylish curved glass door, behind which you have two velvet lined shelves, and the elegant pair of ebonised and gilded columns that flank the door.
The cabinet is very decorative itself and would look great in any corner of your room.
In excellent condition, please see photos for confirmation of condition.

Burr Walnut refers to the swirling figure present in nearly all walnut when cut and polished, and especially in the wood taken from the base of the tree where it joins the roots. However the true burr is a rare growth on the tree where hundreds of tiny branches have started to grow. Burr walnut produces some of the most complex and beautiful figuring you can find.
