Antique Victorian Mahogany Twin Pedestal Office Desk.
This is an antique Victorian mahogany twin pedestal office desk dating from around 1880. It has a rectangular moulded top with rounded corners and a central leather tooled writing insert. Beneath the top you will find a central drawer over a large knee hole and two pedestals, each having four graduating drawers with decorative handles. The back of the antique desk is polished so would be an ideal candidate for those people looking for a desk to place in the centre of a room. It splits into three sections, stands on a plain plinth and is a warm, red mahogany with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
