This beautiful antique Victorian oak arts and crafts secretaire ca 1890 has a shaped back with a beautiful turned gallery above a moulded fall front with simple floral carvings, key and working lock. The interior has its original leather writing insert and one adjustable shelf. The lower section of the antique secretaire has two oak lined drawers with original brass handles and two cupboard doors with moulded edges and fielded panels. This unusual, quality piece of arts & crafts antique furniture is a warm medium oak colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
