The blade of the knife and the drop of the fork have an incurved shaped form and are embellished with pierced and bright cut engraved scroll, floral and leaf decoration accented with stylised leaf motifs.
The decoration to the knife blade incorporates a trident to the centre of the design and an oval cartouche to each side.
The cartouche to the anterior surface depicts a man carrying a bowl of fish in the foreground with a seascape incorporating a castle and ship to the background.
The cartouche to the reverse side of the blade remains vacant.
The servers are fitted with fine and impressive shaped carved ivory handles ornamented with bead decoration in a spiral design to a leaf style terminal.
Both servers have embossed decorated ferrules ornamented with a central band of bead decoration.
These fish servers are fitted to the original hinged leatherette box with satin and velvet lined interior, which secures with a push fit catch.
