This fine antique Victorian sterling silver and mother of pearl fish service for twelve persons consists of twelve fish knives and twelve fish forks.

The impressive plain sabre style knife blades have a broad incurved shaped form, and the forks have three tines with a shaped cylindrical shaft.

Each piece of this service is fitted with impressive sterling silver ribbed handle ornamented with panels of mother of pearl.

The handles incorporate a fine and impressive embossed sterling silver scrolling design to each terminal.

The ferrule to each item is encircled with bands of embossed decoration.

These impressive examples of Victorian silverware are supplied in felt cutlery rolls; which not only protect the items in storage but significantly reduce tarnishing.

This is a fine and impressive set with unusual and desirable handles.
