This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver fish flatware set for twelve persons consists of twelve fish knives and twelve fish forks.

The blade of the Victorian knives and forks both have a broad incurved shaped form.

The surface of the drop of each fork and the knife blades are embellished with impressive bright cut engraved scrolling leaf decoration accented with a paralleling border.

The posterior surface of these boxed fish knives and forks are plain and embellished with a paralleling simple border to the incurved edges.

Each piece of this Victorian fish service is fitted with a fine and impressive carved mother of pearl handle.

The upper portion of each handle is fitted with the original hallmarked sterling silver ferrule embellished with impressive embossed fluted ornamentation, all in a swirl design.

This service is fitted to the fine original hinged oak wood presentation box with a velvet lined interior.

This impressive canteen box is ornamented with brass fittings, including a vacant shaped cartouche and locking mechanism.
