These magnificent antique sterling silver caviar serving dishes have a circular rounded form onto a decorative pedestal and domed spreading foot.

The anterior surface of each dish is encircled with a band of fluted ornamentation below an applied laurel leaf festoon suspended from magnificent ram's heads.

This ornamentation incorporates an applied laurel wreath accented with a ribbon bow to the upper portion.

The swept rims of these dishes are encircled with an impressive applied palmette and bud decorated border.

Each of these impressive centrepiece dishes are fitted with an impressive hallmarked push fit cover, ornamented with fluted decoration to the domed border.

The covers retain the exceptional original cast sterling silver pineapple style finials.

The ornamental body of each dish surmounts a baluster knopped hallmarked pedestal encompassed with further ram's head and leaf festoons, flanked with bead decorated borders.

These pedestals are each supported by a large circular domed spreading foot embellished with further applied festoon and wreath ornamentation, in addition to an egg decorated border to the rim.

The interior of each antique caviar serving dish retains the original gilding.

These antique caviar serving dishes, crafted by the renowned London silversmiths John Hunt & Robert Roskell, are the finest of their type you could hope to acquire.
