The body of this mug is ornamented with bright cut engraved floral and foliate sprays amidst bands of dart and undulating line borders.
The decoration to the body includes a bordered oval vacant cartouche to the centre.
The upper rim and base are embellished with applied bead decorated borders.
The silver mug is fitted with an impressive opposing scroll handle with plain thumbpiece.
This fine example of Victorian silverware retains the original gilt interior.
