The lower portion of this example of Victorian teaware is embellished with embossed narrow fluted decoration.
The upper portion of this coffee pot is ornamented with impressive bright cut engraved lobed floral and eight-pointed star motifs accented with pendant drop designs.
The upper rim is encircled with a band of bright cut engraved simplified leaf and quatrefoil motifs and the swept shoulders incorporating further pendant drop designs above a scalloped border.
This antique coffee pot is fitted with a hallmarked hinged domed cover surmounted with the original carved oval painted wood and sterling silver finial.
This coffee pot retains the original plain angular painted wood handle with a plain scrolling thumbpiece in addition to plain faceted sterling silver sockets.
