An Antique Victorian Sterling silver cutlery set which has been made in the Fiddle pattern design for twelve persons by George Adams and has 87 pieces in total. This plain silver set has been made to a high standard, as one would expect from this maker, and consists of:

12 x Table forks measuring 20.4 cms long
12 x Table knives measuring 24.8 cms long
12 x Dessert forks measuring 17.2 cms long
12 x Dessert knives measuring 22.2 cms long
12 x table spoons measuring 22.3 cms long
12 x Dessert spoons measuring 18.2 cms long
12 x Tea spoons measuring 14.3 cms long
1 x basting spoon measuring 30.4 cms long
2 x sauce ladles measuring 18.2 cms long

Each piece is hallmarked in London by George Adams and ranges in date between 1848-1877. The knives have silver handles and stainless steel blades and have been recently replaced. There are cloth wraps to keep the cutlery pieces neat and tidy and they make a useful addition to this set. This set is in excellent condition, would be perfect to use and would grace any dining table.
