This fine antique English sterling silver goblet has a plain bell shaped form onto a cylindrical knopped pedestal to a circular spreading foot.

The lower portion of this impressive Victorian goblet is encircled with embossed fluted decoration in a swirl design.

The upper rim of the drinking vessel is embellished with two bands of tooled ornamentation.

The knops to the pedestal and foot are encompassed with applied bead decoration.

The goblet retains the original gilded interior.

The underside of the goblet bears registration numbers, in addition to the volume marker '1 PT' and weight 8.20 oz; as to be expected the measured weight has subtly diminished in keeping with age to 8 troy ounces.
