The body of the bowl is encircled with impressive arched panels divided by chased decorated scrolling interlacing motifs below a vacant oval cartouche and scrolling leaf decoration.

The fourth arched panel is plain and remains vacant for a personal inscription.
The lower portion of the body and foot of the bowl are encircled with chased fluted decoration.
The bowl has a plain applied moulded border to the upper rim.
