These fine antique Victorian sterling silver peppers have a cylindrical circular form to a spreading collet style foot.

The surface of these large peppers are embellished with bright cut engraved scrolling leaf and wild rose pendant decoration.

The decoration to each pepper includes a contemporary bright cut engraved crest depicting a serpent entwined around a tree.

The peppers are fitted with hallmarked push fit covers with pierced 'pepper' holes arranged within a stylised trefoil leaf design.

Each piece retains the original gilded interior.
