The body of the cup is embellished with a bright cut engraved spiralling vine/runner ornamentation accented with foliate and floral decoration.
The decoration to the body of the cup incorporates a lozenge shaped vacant cartouche to either side.
The rim is encircled with a bright cut engraved leaf decorated border accented with eight floral motifs.
The knopped pedestal and foot are embellished with applied bead decorated borders.
The foot is further encompassed with bright cut engraved decorated floral sprays.
This silver presentation cup is fitted to a circular painted wood plinth, encircled with a vacant silver inscription band; the band may be engraved with a personal inscription if so desired.
This impressive cup was crafted by the renowned and collectable silversmith Charles Stuart Harris.

The bright cut engraved decoration is very crisp.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the rim are all very clear; the lower portion of the maker’s mark shows some signs of wear, but remains legible.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of Victorian silverware.
