Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Salver Regency Style
Offered by AC Silver
The surface of the salver is encircled with a fine and impressive bright cut engraved stylised interlacing palmette decoration accented with an undulating textured pattern.
The decoration to the serving salver incorporates a vacant circular cartouche to the centre, encompassed with a stylised engraved egg and tongue decorated border.
The raised rounded border is embellished with an impressive applied egg and tongue decorated rim.
The salver is supported by three impressive Regency style bracket feet ornamented with chased scrolling decoration and floral motifs above a paw foot.
This impressive salver was crafted by the renowned London silversmiths John, Edward, Walter & John Barnard of Barnard & Sons Ltd.
This exceptional and collectable salver is the finest example of its type you could hope to acquire.
