The surface of each sauceboat is ornamented with embossed decoration in a swirl design with a scalloped style border to the rim.
These Victorian sauceboats are fitted with impressive C scroll handles featuring chased decorated stylised leaf thumbpieces and bifurcating opposing scroll lower terminals.
Each of these fine examples of antique silverware is supported by three impressive applied and chased decorated volute scroll feet with unusual asymmetrical shaped decorated sockets, in the George II style.
