The body of this large sugar bowl is embellished with fine and impressive bright cut engraved opposing scroll decoration flanking elevated rounded panels, incorporating bordered vacant cartouche to either side.
The scalloped shaped upper rim of the bowl is ornamented with a plain applied moulded border above further scroll framed motifs.
Each protruding panel of the base is ornamented with a scroll design encompassing a matte texture and features an applied moulded border accented with vertically tiered motifs to each incurve.
This exceptional example of antique teaware is fitted with two fine and impressive pierced decorated angular, shaped opposing scroll handles.
This impressive Victorian sugar bowl retains the original gilded interior.
This impressive bowl is a large, substantial size and could be used for a multitude of functions.
