The lower portion of the body is embellished with embossed fluted decoration, incorporating a a central heart shaped motif to either side.
The flared shoulders of the teapot are ornamented with an applied gadroon decorated border accented with scrolling leaf motifs to each side.
This fine Sheffield silver teapot is fitted with a plain hallmarked cover surmounted with the original carved painted wood and sterling silver topped pineapple style finial.
The teapot retains the original carved painted wood angular shaped handle ornamented with an impressive single leaf decorated thumbpiece.
This antique teapot has an impressive swan necked spout with fluted decoration to the underside.
This exceptional example of antique silverware is supported by a plain collet style rim with four applied bracket feet embellished with paw, scrolling leaf and rosette decoration, all in the classic Regency style.
