The lower portion of the teapot, cream jug and sugar bowl is embellished with fluted decoration.
The upper portion is embellished with floral, leaf and scroll chased decoration, with a shaped vacant cartouche to both sides of each item.
The large teapot is fitted with a domed hinged hallmarked cover ornamented with fluted decoration.
The cover is surmounted by a carved fluted decorated, painted wood and sterling silver cushion shaped finial.
The incurved shoulders of this fine antique teapot are embellished with a subtle engraved decorated border accented with stylised leaf designs.
The teapot is fitted with a plain angular carved painted wood handle featuring a plain thumbpiece.
The cream jug and sugar bowl have plain angular sterling silver handles.
The fine sugar bowl and cream jug both have gilt interiors.
This antique tea set is displayed on a tray for illustrative purposes only - the tray (W5339) may be purchased separately from the AC Silver inventory.
