The surface of the horn and functional mouthpiece are encircled with applied bands of moulded decoration reproducing the straps to the horn.
This impressive example of antique silverware is fitted with a silver chain, conjoining with a ring loop terminal.
The flared end of the horn is encompassed with the retailer's mark 'W Thornhill, 144 New Bond St'.
This exceptional and unusual sterling silver whistle is in working order.
