The square dial has an applied chapter ring with cherubin spandrels. The dial centre is finely matted with an engraved date apperture and subsidiary seconds dial. The original blued steel hands appear to be original and are finely wrought and pierced.
The movement is of 8-day duration striking the hours on a single bell
Daniel Delander worked with Thomas Tompion as a journeyman and many of his skills and his techniques were inherited from Tompion. Furthermore, it is known that Delander worked along side George Graham for a period of time.
