This exceptional antique William IV sterling silver sauceboat has an oval shaped form, reflecting the style of a nautilus shell.

The large shaped body of this impressive antique sauce boat is plain and embellished with a contemporary bright cut engraved crest displaying a lion passant.

This exceptional example of antique silverware is fitted with an impressive and elevated scrolling handle accented with an impressive applied single leaf decorated thumbpiece.

The sauceboat is supported by a shaped, undulating spreading foot.
