A Superb Quality Brass Bound Mahogany Writing Box, in the campaign style. The box still retains all the original brassware with military style flush handles. There is an unusual double fold action and three secret drawers to the interior. The insert to the lid retains the original red leather and conceals further compartments. The key to the box is original and the lock is fully working. Ink bottles and desk leather replaced in the original style. A good quality box that would make an impressive gift for any occasion.
