Angel Domínguez was born in the Basque Country in 1953. He is a children’s and wildlife illustrator with a special fondness for children’s books. Books are the passion of his life, not only illustrating but also collecting, with a great weakness for the work of Arthur Rackham.This has meant that he has developed friendships with other illustrators, writers and publishers from all over the world, many of whom are now firm friends.
His editor, Michael O´Mara Books of London, has published, "Diary of a Victorian mouse", "Classic Animal Stories", "My Own Book of Animal Stories", "Animal Adventure Mazes" and "The King´s Gift".

Books illustrated include: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Anaconda y Otros Cuentos de La Selva, Animal Adventure Mazes, Diary of a Victorian Mouse, Journey to Freedom, The King's Gift - with Queen Rania of Jordan, Twelve Days of Christmas, and many more.
